Plasma skin resurfacing is achieved with the Opus Plasma ® by utilizing adiofrequency (RF) and plasma energy to address signs of aging, like lines and wrinkles, as well as other skin irregularities, such as pigmentation, acne scars, and more. Skin resurfacing using Opus Plasma® technology is an effective treatment for patients who want radiant, younger-looking skin. The Opus Plasma ® can be integrated with a multitude of other treatments at La Touche Élite Aesthetics, to optimize results.
What Should I Expect After Treatment?
Following your plasma skin resurfacing procedure, an ointment will be smoothed over the treated skin and you can return home to recover. The treated skin may appear pink, and there may be mild swelling and irritation. This should subside in a few days, and you may experience skin peeling process lasting over a 1 — 2 day period. All patients should reduce their sun exposure following their plasma skin resurfacing treatment and apply sun protection throughout the day. It is crucial to avoid interfering with the recovery process to prevent scarring and to shield your skin from UV exposure. After the recovery period is completed, your skin should feel smoother while looking rejuvenated, clearer, and younger.
Plasma Skin Resurfacing Reviews
She was lovely! She educated you on all the procedures and skin care line. Friendly, professional and amazing customer service.
Jeanine is thorough and very knowledgeable. She gave such a good experience for my Botox treatment and I look forward to continue seeing her. She also walked me through my new skin care regimen that I am super excited about. Thanks Jeanine!
I absolutely LOVE Jeanine of La Touche Elite Aesthetics in Myrtle beach! As a 50+ year old 1/2 Asian American woman who has been a customer for 3 years, I would highly recommend and strongly encourage anyone interested in looking younger and more vibrant to try their services like wrinkle treatments, skin resurfacing and dermal filler for lips and face. As a NYC transplant to Myrtle Beach, I have been to a few cosmetic/aesthetic service businesses and have been disappointed by the lack of professional experience and quality of service. I’ve NEVER been disappointed with La Touche Elite Aesthetics services as Jeanine REALLY KNOWS a woman’s face regardless of your ethnicity. Jeanine has a friendly professional demeanor who will give you reasonable advice based on your specific needs.

About UsPlasma Skin Resurfacing FAQs
Is plasma skin resurfacing safe for dark skin?
With the right provider and customized settings, it can be. Plasma energy treats the skin’s surface and deeper layers without relying on pigment, making it gentler on darker tones than many lasers. We evaluate your skin type carefully and adjust treatment depth to minimize risks like hyperpigmentation while still stimulating new collagen for a smoother, more even finish.
Can you get plasma skin resurfacing while pregnant?
No, plasma treatments should be postponed during pregnancy. Even though Opus Plasma is minimally invasive, the body’s hormonal shifts make skin more reactive, and elective procedures aren’t advised until after delivery. Once cleared, we can design a plan that fits your post-pregnancy skincare goals.
When can I reapply makeup after plasma skin resurfacing?
Your skin will need time to recover and rehydrate, so most patients wait 2–3 days before using makeup. The exact timing depends on treatment depth—lighter sessions may allow for quicker coverage. Once any flaking or redness subsides, you can return to your normal routine with mineral or non-comedogenic formulas that support healing.
